John Treacy

Over 13 years of consulting experience in the EU and North America. Specialist areas include business analysis, sales force effectiveness, strategic HR and communications.

John Treacy has worked with two global management consulting firms, Watson Wyatt Worldwide and Sibson & Company/Segal, and his consulting focus has been in the areas of sales effectiveness, strategic HR, performance and reward management, strategic incentive design, employee retention and organisational effectiveness.

John's more recent engagements have included projects with blue chip names such as GE, Vodafone, Capgemini, Heineken, DePuy/Johnson & Johnson, NEC Electronics, Jobs.ie, Group 4 Securicor, Tesco, IDA Ireland and RTÉ.

Prior to returning to Ireland in 2001, John spent seven years living in Chicago and working in the management consulting and finance arenas.
As a Human Capital Consultant, his specialisation was in the areas of financial analysis, strategic HR management consulting and sales organisation effectiveness.
In the US, John worked across a broad range of industries with clients such as Regent Medical, AOL, AAA, Borg-Warner/Burns Security, Borg-Warner Automotive, IntelliRisk Call Centres, CSAA Insurance, Orkin/Rollins, Nestlé Clinical Nutrition, Wheels.com, Mebane Packaging and Shaw Industries.

Before moving into management consulting, John spent two years in the futures and options trading industry, working on the trading floor of the Chicago Board of Trade and on the Foreign Exchange team at ABN-Amro/The Chicago Corporation. John has delivered several executive seminars on sales force effectiveness, in Dublin, London and Madrid and his most recent published articles include “Current Trends in Variable Pay” for the CIPD (People Focus Magazine) and “Smarter Sales Pay” for the Sales Institute of Ireland (Quarterly Newsletter).

John graduated with a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies degree from University College Dublin in 1995 with a focus in Finance.

John is the Managing Director of Treacy Consulting and he currently holds Non-Executive Directorships in Acuman Facilities Management and Redmond Molloy Dental Clinics.

Stephen Treacy

Stephen Treacy

Stephen has been working in the areas of corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and e-commerce strategy for over 12 years across the US and Europe.

Stephen has also worked for four years as Strategy and Business Development Manager for C&C Group. Based in Dublin, this work involved assessing new markets, new products and acquisitions across Europe, the United States and South America.

Prior to this, Stephen worked exclusively for the US strategy group of the German Stock Exchange (Deutsche Boerse), the Swiss Stock Exchange, and Eurex, the largest futures and options exchange in the world. Based in Chicago, Stephen was engaged to help define, plan and implement the $6 billion company's US market-entry strategy.

Prior to his work at Deutsche Boerse, Stephen worked as a corporate strategy consultant for clients such as GE Financial Assurance, Baxter Pharmaceuticals, the Canadian Government, Genentech Biotechnology, Peabody Energy, Law.com and Nestle/Ralston Purina. Stephen's corporate strategy work in this area included M&A due-diligence, new product/new market feasibility studies, cross border trade initiatives, marketing benchmarking studies and e-commerce business strategies.

Stephen graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Management) from Trinity College Dublin. Stephen also holds an Advanced Diploma in Administration and Marketing from the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Andrew Lynch

Andrew Lynch

Andrew has seven years’ experience in the Irish management consultancy market, specialising in both project delivery and business development across many industries in both the public and private sectors, in particular the healthcare sector.

Working as a Senior Consulting in a leading national consultancy firm focusing purely on strategy development and implementation, Andrew worked on long-term projects with large national and multinational organisations.
These included the administration of a programme management office for Standard Life on a ten-month project to develop and launch a new pensions product; providing support to the Health Service Executive over 18 months undertaking demand projections for healthcare services and associated financial budgeting; working with the senior management team of FBD Insurance to develop a growth strategy, including the development of distribution strategies for entry into new markets; and providing programme management support to the Danone Group on a seven-month to relocate finance activities from France to Ireland.

Other clients include Enterprise Ireland, St. Vincent de Paul, Schering Plough, University College Cork, the Citizens Information Board, and the ESB.
Prior to returning to management consultancy in Ireland, Andrew worked with a number of large multinationals, SMEs and NGOs in both Australia and America, including CitiBank, Microsoft, Vivance Inc, and Greenpeace.
Andrew graduated with a BA in Business Studies from Griffith College Dublin. Andrew also holds a Masters in Business Studies from University College Dublin’s Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, specialising in eCommerce.
